Today I’m sharing my LAST gift guide of 2023, a gift guide is for everyone’s favorite family member – your pet! If you’re anything like me, your pets aren’t just pets – they’re treasured members of the family. Our pets are our loyal companions and provide us with so much unconditional love each and every day, so the least we can do is show them some love by making sure there’s something special under the tree for them on Christmas morning. If you consider your pets family and get great joy from seeing their faces light up every time they receive a new toy or treat, keep reading for my gift guide for the pampered pet!
Gift Ideas for the One Who Has Everything
Hand Stamped Pet Tag – $35
I think these hand stamped pet tags are so charming, and I love the hammered brass look. This would look especially great paired with a festive plaid collar for the holidays!
Nylabone Chew Toy – $13
Our corgi, Bolt, is an EXTREMELY tough chewer. He can destroy a stuffed toy in ten seconds flat, so frankly buying stuffed toys sometimes feels like throwing money down the drain. We probably have a dozen of these Nylabone chew toys at this point because they’re the only thing he can’t immediately destroy. If you have a tough chewer, they’ll love these!
Dog Water Bottle – $13
My friends got me this as a birthday gift a few years ago and we use it for the pups all the time when the weather is nice! It has a strap for easy carrying, and I love that clicking the button can make the water recede back into the bottle so I don’t have to dump it out if the pups don’t finish it.
Furbo Dog Camera – $210
The perfect splurge for your dog *and* for you! This is the creme de la creme of dog cameras – it swivels so you can see your dog no matter what part of the room they’re in, and it can even toss them a treat.
Donut Dog Bed – $43
We have two of these donut dog beds and our dogs are absolutely obsessed with them. I keep one under my desk and Marty will snuggle in it at my feet quite literally all day while I work. I think it’s his favorite place in the house!
3 Month BarkBox Subscription – $99
BarkBox is a dog toy subscription box that includes a surprise of different dog toys, treats, and goodies each month. Any pup who enjoys toys and playing would love a BarkBox subscription!
Dog Bandana – $8
I’ve purchased several bandanas from Downtown Dog for our pups and they’re such great quality. They have tons of designs to choose from and they easily slide onto our dogs’ collars!
Plaid Reversible Dog Jacket – $65
For the pup who’s always cold (cough cough, Marty) – gift them the cutest reversible dog jacket! Your pup will thank you when you’re going for a walk in 20 degree December weather.
Chicken Jerky Dog Treats – $12
We discovered these chicken jerky treats at a fundraiser last year and our dogs are OBSESSED. I don’t think there’s any treat that gets our dog as excited as these ones! They’re just made of dehydrated chicken, so you can feel good about giving them to your pups and knowing what ingredients are in them!
Cat Chase Toys – $14
Although I’m a dog person, I had to include a couple of suggestions for my cat-loving friends! When I worked at an animal shelter, the resident cats always loved these little chase toys! Just think how happy your cat will be batting around these fun toys.
Chuck It Fetch Stick – $5
Marty absolutely loves every Chuck-It toy we’ve ever brought home for him, but this one is his favorite. Both of our pups love playing tug or fetch with it, and it’s even held up to Bolt’s chewing!
Pet Travel Bag – $50
This is probably our most-used pet item and an absolute must for anyone who travels frequently with their pets. We load this up with their food, toys, and medications for the weekend and it ensures that nothing gets left behind. It even includes individual zip-up bags to stay organized and two travel bowls that always come in handy!
Rope Dog Leash – $34
We finally made the switch from retractable leashes to rope leashes a couple of years ago and we’re never going back. They make it much easier to maintain control while walking and they’re more comfortable to hold onto than retractable ones. I love the stylish details on this one!
Customized Stoneware Pet Bowl – $42
How cute is this customized stoneware bowl? Our dogs seem to prefer ceramic bowls over metal ones, and this one would look beautiful in any home!
When we had a cat, these were the only treats she ever wanted – and the cats at the animal shelter I worked at felt the same way. Your cat will be begging for these treats once they see them!
